About the Campus

The Transformative Power of Creatives

FCR is more than a simple art studio or creative agency or maker space. We act as transformation agents in a changing society. With the paradigm shifts of digitalisation disrupting our everyday lives on a constant basis, we foster responsible use of technology in urban environments by researching concepts like sharing and access economy, flex use of spaces and resources as well as diffusion of special knowledge from different branches of science, economy, arts and culture.

FCR manifests in a physical space, enabling low level of entry for interested peers, using the space as a hub for communication and also as a production environment. The high level of experience of the core community enables rapid succession of projects and quick changes of infrastructure depending on project requirements.

FCR reaches out to its global peers via digital networks that facilitate spontaneous mobility of creatives around the globe, bringing experiences, jobs and talent to a decentralised and diverse community of benefactors. Cross-pollination of individuals and institutions, businesses, administrations and education facilities empowers the broad public to participate in the responsible development of digitalisation strategies.

2023

in 2023 FCR is concluding the experimentation phase, translating the learnings into a new institution and progressing towards new spaces.
